Warsash is a marine settlement buried at the mouth of the River Hamble in the southern Hampshire town of Locks Heath. In addition to being the departure point for British and allied commando groups heading to the Normandy Landings on D-Day, the historic village is home to four attractive pubs and notable historic structures like the Warsash Clock Tower, St. Mary’s Parish Church, and the Warsash Clock Tower. As a division of Solent University, the Warsash Marine School is the top teaching facility for more than 150 approved deck, engineering, interior, maritime, and offshore safety training courses. The picturesque neighbourhood hamlet of Hook and Fareham, which is situated at the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour, are two nearby market towns. The port city of Southampton, which is within easy driving distance of the village, is home to the SeaCity Museum, the Solent Sky Museum, a Renaissance Art Gallery, and connections to the RMS Titanic.
