The Shropshire Union Canal passes through the village of Wrenbury, which is located in south Cheshire and easily accessible from Nantwich and Whitchurch. Domesday Book mentions Wrenbury, which contains a post office, shops, two pubs, a chapel, and a village green. The lovely market town of Nantwich, situated close by on the banks of the River Weaver and the Shropshire Union Canal, is nearby. One of the few remaining outdoor brine pools in the UK, which is heated throughout the summer, is the place’s claim to fame. In addition to a monthly farmers’ market featuring the best local products, there are regular market days held throughout the week. In the spring and summer, when it comes alive with floral displays across the streets, Nantwich town centre, which is pedestrianised and benefits from some excellent examples of old buildings, is highly recommended.
