The Bird Spot Community Is Live!

Guillemots

When we relaunched our website back in December of last year we told you that we had some new features coming.

And we’re really excited to announce that our Bird Spot community is now live! Our ambition is to build one of the best digital communities for bird lovers but to do that we need your help.

The product is currently in beta which means that although we’ve been able to start accepting members, we’re aware there will be a few bugs – both known and unknown – that will need fixing before we’re ready to launch to the wider public.

For now, while we’re in this testing phase we’re limiting sign-ups and asking users to bear with us as we work on perfecting the product.

We’re also asking our founder members to help us test it and suggest new features and improvements they’d like to see. The more feedback we receive the better.

Once you’ve signed-up you’ll be able to connect with other bird lovers and join groups to chat about your favourite birds, share photographs, and ask for help and advice. In fact, you can do anything you like within reason as this community has been built for you, and we want it to grow and evolve based on what you want.

We’ll be rolling out new features over the coming months – in the next few weeks we’ll be making our roadmap public so you can see what we’re working on.

For now, if you’d like to join you can register here. Or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when new features are available.

As always, we love to hear your thoughts so drop us a line at hello@birdspot.co.uk or leave a comment below.
