James emailed to say he’d heard a cuckoo twice in Bordon, east Hampshire.

He said, “I heard it twice just now. I normally hear them in spring at Frensham pond 5 miles away, but in spring!”

It’s doubtful that what James heard was a cuckoo as they have are currently in Africa taking a well earned break between migrations.
