Burnham-on-Sea is an ideal base to explore Somerset. It has seven miles of sandy beaches, sailing, fishing, donkey rides, a theatre, cinema, swimming pool, gardens and a 36-hole golf course. Within easy reach is Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Wells (England’s smallest city), Exmoor National Park, Glastonbury and the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare which offers sandy beaches, donkeys, watersports, restaurants and shops, as well as the Playhouse Theatre and Winter Gardens.
