Bridlington is south of Scarborough and Filey on Yorkshire’s east coast. Two award-winning golden sand beaches flank the ancient harbour. Bridlington’s shops, attractions, restaurants, and historic ‘Old Town’ give a contrast to the beach, where the newest Dad’s Army was filmed. The Yorkshire Wolds, Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, and the heritage coastline are further afield. Bempton’s RSPB bird refuge, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke, and Flamborough Head are all nearby.
