Situated on the River Teme amongst the countryside of the Welsh Marches is the market town of Ludlow. With nearly 500 listed buildings, Ludlow’s medieval street pattern remains almost intact, providing a unique backdrop for the town’s street markets. These events take place beneath the impressive castle and showcase a range of local goods – from cheeses and fresh produce to books and crafts. The castle itself is over 900 years old and the Linney Riverside Park provides boat hire, a putting green and children’s play area. Ludlow is within easy reach of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway and Berrington Hall.
