Every inch of the space has been carefully designed with this in mind from the comfy sofa seating made for movie nights together, to the flexible bedroom set-up, to the outdoor bar area which is great for socialising.
Shepherd’s Lodge is light and airy with large windows which flood the rooms with natural light and showcase the stunning views. Many rooms lead out onto the terraces and there is underfloor heating throughout.
Step inside into the entrance hall that leads to the open-plan living space which is all on one level and purposely designed for entertaining. To start with there’s the sitting area where you can sink into the sofas and enjoy a movie thanks to the Smart TV that comes with a Sky package.
The chefs in your group will love the contemporary kitchen. It’s well equipped with wall mounted electric ovens and an induction hob that’s set into the large island with bar stools so that you can chat with your fellow guests while you cook. There’s also a combi microwave, a Liebherr fridge/freezer with two freezers, a wine cooler, dishwasher and Quooker hot tap so that every meal from three-course dinner to party buffet can be catered for with ease. Meanwhile, the dining area is a light and bright place for everyone to gather together and relax.
The three bedrooms are adjacent to the living area. One bedroom has four single beds, the second bedroom has three single beds and an en suite shower room, and the third bedroom has three single beds, whereby two singles can easily be converted into a super-king-size bed to give greater flexibility for your group. There’s also a family shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower.
For party evenings the outdoor space is the place to be. Mediterranean plants grace the mature borders, whilst sweeping lawns and hedges lead your eyes to magnificent views of the countryside. There are two large terraces, one is paved and can be accessed from the living area, whilst the other is a raised deck at the front of the property. The gardens are a great place for sipping cocktails at the bar area and al fresco dining, or soaking away in the luxurious hot tub.
