Culzean Castle Country Park is a National Trust park and the beautifully restored Dumfries House is well worth booking a tour. Catch a ferry to explore the islands of Cumbrae, Arran and Bute, or Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula which gives you great access to the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily reached for a day trip.
