North Elmham is home to the ruins of a Saxon cathedral, while Pensthorpe, located just outside of Fakenham, is a birder’s paradise and the filming location for BBC Springwatch. Thetford Forest, Sandringham with Sandringham House, the cathedral city of Norwich, and the historic maritime town of King’s Lynn are all within easy driving distance from Dereham.
