Nestled in the Gwendraeth Valley betwixt Carmarthen and Llanelli is the delightful village of Pontyates. The village is home to a Post Office, a shop, pub/restaurant, garage and a traditional fish and chips shop. Pontyates is an excellent location, close to attractions such as shopping, cinema and theatre trips, a steam ride, as well as the day at a sandy beach. This is a very scenic part of Wales to explore and makes for a fabulous staycation.
