Llanberis is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The village is the starting point for the ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), starting at the Snowdon Mountain Railway, or by foot along one of the many routes to the summit. You will also find pubs, restaurants, shops and cafés in Llanbris, as well as nearby country parks, museums and castles to explore. Flanked by two lakes, the village is a scenic spot to stay and discover North Wales.
