These headlands and the town’s two waterfronts give Llandudno its distinctive attractiveness. For the greatest views, ride the Great Orme Tramway or a mile-long cable car to the peak. Venue Cymru, North Wales’ finest theatre stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and visiting orchestras, is within a stone’s throw from the promenade. World Heritage Site Conwy is 4 kilometres distant. Conwy is a mediaeval jewel with a magnificent castle and well-preserved town walls.
