Located in South Wales between Caldicot and Newport, quaint Penhow is a little community with a lot of charm. The settlement has a convenience store, a restaurant (The Rock & Fountain), and a national nature reserve (Penhow Woodlands National Nature Reserve) in addition to its famous castle, which is believed to be the oldest inhabited castle in all of Wales. Visit Newport, home to the East Usk Lighthouse, the RSPB Newport Wetlands, Newport Cathedral, and Shaftesbury Park, or keep on to the capital city of Cardiff, site of Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Forest Farm Country Park, and the National Museum Cardiff.
