A charming market village located six miles from Stafford, the county seat. There are grocery stores, upscale clothing boutiques, an artists’ cooperative, pubs, restaurants, cafes, and take-out places there. The main street is protected because of the charming Georgian buildings. The annual Eccleshall Show, now in its 70th year, and the monthly farmers market are both held in the town. Holy Trinity Church has been around since the 12th century. Between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent is where the town is located. With a variety of high-profile stores and ceramics museums to explore, the latter is the centre of the British ceramics industry.
