The Nail Bourne River flows through the village of Bridge, which is located on the fringe of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The community, which is home to Bourne Park, two pubs, a village hall, and a convenience store, is located not far from the main road between London and Dover. St. Augustine’s Abbey’s Saxon ruins, the 13th-century Westgate Towers Museum and Viewpoint, which now houses an escape room, Canterbury Castle, beautiful parks and gardens, a train station, a theatre, numerous fascinating museums, and bars, shops, and restaurants to suit all tastes can all be found in the nearby cathedral city of Canterbury. In the midst of wildlife, hills, and valleys, the Kent Downs AONB offers picturesque routes for horseback riders, cyclists, and hikers.
