Tenby is a busy beach town in Wales that is known as “The Jewel in the Crown.” It is located on the stunningly beautiful “Welsh Riviera.” Tenby is in the beautiful 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Gulf Stream warms the water there, and the county is one of the sunniest in the UK. This beautiful town is surrounded by mediaeval walls and has a maze of cobblestone streets with lots of unique shops, an indoor food market with food from the area, tea rooms, and tempting restaurants. Nearly three miles of beautiful Blue Flag-awarded beaches offer a variety of watersports. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something that competitors in the world-famous Tenby Iron-Man race (held in mid-September) don’t have time for.
