Between Berwick and Lewes in East Sussex’s South Downs National Park is the tiny community of Firle. There are many facilities to support the community, including a convenience store, post office, farm shop, cricket club, Ram Inn bar, and Burning Sky Brewery. Firle Beacon Nature Reserve and Arlington Reservoir are two nearby attractions that are great for hikers and those who enjoy being in nature. A wealth of alternative activities are located further away, including Drusillas Park Zoo, Lewes Castle & Museum, and Seaford Museum of Local History toward the coast. Brighton Seafront is also accessible by car and is home to a variety of amusements. Enjoy a day by the water at Brighton Palace Pier, then tour the Upside Down House and SEA LIFE Brighton before ending your day with a bag of chips on Brighton Beach.
