Set in the open fields and hedgerows of northern Cornwall is the tiny village of St Newlyn East, offering a peaceful alternative to the bustling resort town of Newquay, just five miles away. With a number of wonderful country trails, this area is popular with cyclists and ramblers though there are a number of other activities open to visitors throughout the year, including model railways, theme parks, fishing villages, harbours and some of the UK’s best surfing beaches. For a vibrant night life, visitors will enjoy the fabulous clubs and bars available in nearby Newquay as well as its more sedate day time attractions of the Zoo and Sea Life Centre. The cathedral city of Truro and the Eden project are also within easy driving distance, making this a wonderfully varied location.
