Aberdaron, a small fishing community, is nestled between two streams and the ocean. Lime-washed fishermen’s cottages, cafes, shops, hotels, and the church of St. Hywyn straggle up the hills and give Aberdaron its unique character. There is a promenade on both sides of the river’s mouth where you can sit and watch the sailing boats and regattas in the bay. A National Trust information centre and parking lot are also available. Pwllheli and Abersoch, two popular tourist destinations, are not far away. Explore magnificent castles and secluded coves, and take advantage of the nearby fishing, watersports, and golfing. In close proximity by car is Snowdonia National Park, with its breathtaking landscapes and plethora of excellent walking trails, making this an excellent starting point for a holiday full of variety and fun in any season.
