Roade is a small village with two convenience stores, a post office, an ice cream shop, a pub, a café, a Chinese takeaway, a bakery and a children’s playground. Roade is within a short drive to Towcester, where you can visit Towcester Museum, Bury Mount historical landmark, a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. Less than 15 miles to the famous Gulliver’s Land Theme Park, and slightly further takes you into the city centre of Northampton or Milton Keynes where there are high street shops, bars and restaurants.
