John Randall saw a cuckoo this morning in Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire.

He said, “This morning at 0800hrs I saw a cuckoo but it made no call . It flew in and perched in one of my 5 old apple trees, looked around for about 20 seconds then flew about 8 meters to another apple tree where it remained for about 30 seconds when it flew off across a very wet and neglected paddock on the adjacent farm.”
