The village is split into two halves of the old and new, new Langho developed when the construction of the railway took place in the mid-19th century, turning it into a minor but still thriving commercial centre. The ancient part of the village is considered a real gem, steeped in history for visitors to explore. There are pubs and eateries among a few small shops and a school in the village. The wider area however, boasts many points of interest to be discovered such as, Longridge Fell which lies at the southern end of the Forest of Bowland AONB. Blackburn town centre offers a wide variety of eateries and shops, as well as an array of attractions to entertain all ages.
