The coastal village of Inver is situated on Inver Bay, which is located within Donegal Bay, and boasts a lovely golden sandy beach with sand dunes and great sea angling. Positioned on the seafront, there are many beaches and resorts close by, most notably Mountcharles. The family resort of Mountcharles is only 5 miles away, and is popular with both locals and tourists; with a sandy beach, amusements, and a long promenade, great for watching a beautiful sunset, it is ideal for a fun filled day out. A little further inland is historic Donegal town; with bars, restaurants and shops, as well as festivals and great Irish music, it has something to suit all tastes. Ireland’s premier fishing town, Killybegs, is just 7 miles away, and is close to the world famous Slieve League, the highest cliffs in Europe; the breathtaking views make this a must for any visitor!
