Birthplace of the novelist JM Barrie, creator of Peter Pan is the delightful town of Kirriemuir. Perched within the valley of Strathmore, this small town is often referred to as the gateway to the Angus Glens. Attractions include the Aviation Museum, Glamis Castle and the historic Pictish Stones at Meigle, in addition to JM Barrie’s house which is now a museum looked after by the National Trust.
