Barwick is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, providing a network of rural footpaths. The nearby bustling town of Yeovil offers visitors an interesting array of shops and leisure facilities, whilst within easy reach can be found several National Trust properties including Montecute House, Barrington Court and Stourhead. Alternatively visit ancient Bath or historic Sherborne with its abbey, castle, pretty antique shops and good restaurants, both of which are easily accessible. The Jurassic coast footpath and beaches are only a 30 minute drive away through beautiful countryside and fishing can be enjoyed on the River Stour at Sturminster Newton.
