Goring-by-Sea, locally known as Goring, is a neighbourhood of the West Sussex town of Worthing as it sits just two miles west of the popular resort. Goring itself offers a modest selection of amenities including two excellent food pubs, a Post Office, a newsagents, a bakery and a choice of takeaways, making it an excellent base for a break by the south coast. This suburb’s main attraction is its pebble and sandy beach which is prime for water sports including kite surfing. The neighbouring town of Worthing benefits from a much wider range of amenities as well as a wonderfully sandy beach and a stunning pier. Other nearby tourist destinations include the fabulous Brighton & Hove and the spectacular cathedral city of Chichester slightly further afield.
