Appleby-in-Westmorland is a market town resting at the heart of Eden Valley, resting near the River Eden, and overlooking the North Pennines. Found between two National Parks, Appleby has plenty of walking and cycling opportunities, as well as a range of shops, cafes, pubs, and the historic street of Boroughgate, where you can explore ancient buildings. Nearby attractions include Norman Castle, the Church of St.Lawrence, and the Settle-Carlisle Railway.
