The village of Barnard’s Green is located close to the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This lovely community, which lies between the imposing metropolis of Worcester to the north and Gloucester, is arguably best known for its past as a spa town during the 19th century, when travellers would swarm to the village to “take the waters” due to their supposedly beneficial effects on health. Today, tourists may take in a live performance at the neighbouring Malvern Theatres, have some family fun at the Malvern Splash Leisure Complex, wander the tranquil grounds of Priory Park, which has a pond and a playground, and even brush up on local history at the Malvern Museum. A Co-Op, One Stop, and Premier convenience store are all located in the centre of Barnard’s Green, giving visitors plenty of options if they need to stock up on food or other necessities. A lot of intriguing places and sites are also conveniently close to Barnard’s Green, including The Morgan Experience Centre, Little Malvern Court & Gardens, The Walled Gardens at Croome Court, and the RAF Defford Museum. The Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum and The Commandery are only a couple of the must-see sights in Worcester, where you can spend the entire day.
