Kingsdown is a village close to the beach of St Margaret’s Bay, at the northern end of the white cliffs of Dover. The village offers basic amenities including a number of pubs, a butcher and a general store. The surrounding area is filled with natural beauty, being situated close to the White Cliffs of Dover, with the beaches and cliffs around Kingsdown part of the Site of Scientific Interest that stretches down to Folkestone. For days out, the city of Canterbury is well worth a visit, with many attractions such as the cathedral, Roman remains and excellent shopping centre.
