Fylingthorpe is a North Yorkshire coastal village, close to Robin Hood’s Bay, offering a pub serving food and drink, a shop for picking up any essentials, a bakery and a horse riding centre. The ancient fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay showcases rows of fisherman’s cottages, cobbled streets filled with shops, tea rooms, inns and restaurants, and a sandy cove. A short drive away is the historic port of Whitby, where there is a colourful promenade which covers a 3-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach. Fylingthorpe rests on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, where you can find scenic walking and cycling routes, as well as the opportunity for golfing and fishing, and a steam train ride to discover some of Yorkshire’s finest scenery, such as the beautiful Esk Valley and the famous village of Goathland. A little further south is the elegant seaside town of Scarborough, where you can find an aquarium and a medieval castle.
