Elgin is the administrative centre of Morayshire and a tourist destination in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The city, located on Scotland’s north east coast, has a lot to offer in terms of history and visitor attractions, with its access to sandy beaches, golf courses, and dramatic fishing villages. The town has developed and prospered along the banks of the River Lossie, and it features majestic stone structures and, of course, the famous cathedral, which goes back to the 13th century.
