You can take a leisurely stroll along the river or through the woodland at the Glengarriff Nature Reserve, or you can challenge yourself with a strenuous hike in the Caha Mountains, all of which are within easy driving distance of Glengarriff. Both the Ewe Sculpture Garden and the world-famous Garnish Island with its tropical gardens make for fantastic day trips. Bantry House and Gardens, Kenmare’s Macgillycuddy’s Reeks and Caha mountain range, and Castletownbere’s Dunboy Castle are well worth the extra travel time. Not to be missed; it’s fantastic here!
