The Dales village of Airton is situated in Malhamdale, amidst open limestone countryside. The village boasts a popular farm shop and tea room at Town End Farm, which is renowned for selling local produce. It is a great starting point for walkers, with a route along the Pennine Way into Malhamdale, or you may wish to walk from Gargrave to Malham, via Kirkby Malham. Malham Cove is close by, one of Britain’s most impressive natural features and well worth a visit, as well a s Gorsdale Scar and Janet’s Foss.
