Abersoch is a picturesque harbour village on Wales’ Llyn Peninsula, known for its scenery and walking. The village, between two bays, is a popular sailing venue in North Wales and hosts regattas all summer. Shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes serve tourists. A golf course and horse riding facilities are also nearby. Windsurfing, waterskiing, dinghy sailing, and surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth) are popular watersports. Abersoch Main Beach is the area’s most popular. Porth Ceriad, with its high cliffs, and Porth Oer are two beautiful beaches near the Llyn Peninsula (“Whistling Sands”). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust, and there are remote bays, sandy beaches, and cliffs to explore.
