Hayling Island rests south of Havant, in-between the delightful Langstone and Chichester Harbours with views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight with an abundance of attractions to suit all the family. Being a traditional seaside resort – this island is home to three notable beaches, perfect for walkers and nature lovers. The four-mile-long Hayling Billy coastal path is another haven for walkers and cyclists and the location also offers plenty of sporting opportunities, from windsurfing and sailing to kite surfing and golf. Children have plenty to keep themselves occupied including roller coaster rides at the Funland amusement park. The market town of Emsworth is nestled on Hampshire’s border close by, boasting narrow streets, a harbourside, charming pubs, restaurants and specialist shops, certainly worth a visit.
