Whalley is a large village and civil parish in Lancashire, England, situated near the River Calder. The village boasts many independent shops, pubs and restaurants, including a variety of historical buildings such as Whalley Abbey, Whalley Parish Church and Whalley Village Hall. An annual event called the Whalley Pickwick night is run every December where guests wear Victorian costumes and raise money for charity.
