Surrounded by the English countryside, Salisbury is amass with timbered buildings, as well as the gothic-looking cathedral, which is home to some of the best preserved copies of the Magna Carta. Thriving markets, museum and the annual international arts festival in May hosted in the Salisbury Playhouse, make this a great holiday destination.
