About where you'll be staying

The picturesque village of Tudweiliog lies on the Nefyn to Aberdaron road along the stunning north coast of the Llyn Peninsula and feels much further away than it is from the hustle and bustle of Pwllheli and Abersoch, and the other resorts along the south coast. The local pub is the Lion Inn and there is a Post Office in the village which also doubles as the village shop. The local beach is the cove of Porth Towyn, with its clean sand and waters, it is a popular choice with families. A little further along the coast is the wide bay of Traeth Penllech with the tiny fishing hamlet of Porth Colmon at its western end. The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is renowned for its scenery and varied walking, with coastal paths being a major attraction for the avid walker. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust, where you will find many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs and wildlife havens, plus the region is dotted with castles, whilst fishing, sailing and watersport activities are available. Also within easy reach are Portmeirion, the Isle of Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic scenery and superb walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Tudweiliog makes a wonderful base for a break in this part of Wales.
