In East Sussex, Saint Leonards-on-Sea is a coastal town near to Hastings. Three kilometres of shingle beach, a bustling town centre, and a promenade with a bike path make this a fantastic place for a tranquil family holiday by the sea or an exciting weekend getaway. With its unique blend of Regency structures and gardens, the town has a lovely vintage vibe. It also enjoys a superb location for viewing the local sites in Hastings and Battle. The high up on the cliffs Norman remnants of Hastings Castle, the smugglers’ caves, the Hastings Aquarium, and various museums are attractions. Sissinghurst Castle Gardens are about 20 miles distant, and both Battle and Rye are easily accessible. To the Sussex coast, Saint Leonards-on-Sea offers a fantastic getaway.
