A charming community with a stunning limestone cove and scar, located about 7 miles from Malham on the banks of the River Aire. There are several dining options in the hamlet, including an excellent Indian restaurant, as well as a few bars, cafes, and retail establishments. Gargrave is an excellent starting point for visiting this region of Yorkshire because it is traversed by the Pennine Way, the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, and bicycle route 68. The legendary high street and old castle of Skipton, often known as “The Gateway to the Dales,” are located four miles away in this historic market town. This location, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is great for touring, biking, and walking.
