A village in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, Beadlam is directly joined onto another village, Nawton. The village offers a pub serving food and a local fish and chip shop. Nearby, about 3 miles away, is the market town of Helmsley, historically important for it’s 12th century castle. There is walking on the doorstep with the national trail, Cleveland Way, starting in Helmsley, which has views of the coast and ancient stone crosses.
