Shute End is a little hamlet in Wiltshire, three miles south of Salisbury, near to the well-known area of the New Forest. It’s what we’d call a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the best of rural England. The historic cathedral city of Salisbury, with its magnificent heritage, charter market, and wide variety of stores, pubs, and restaurants, is only three miles away if you feel like exploring the neighbourhood, and a small country road close to Avon Turn will take you to the New Forest boundary in about 15 minutes.
