The charming village of Fadmoor, with its old stone cottages, is 2.5 miles from Kirkbymoorside in the North York Moors National Park. Visitors will find enough to do in Kirkbymoorside’s various tea shops, pubs, and restaurants, there’s even an 18-hole golf course. Hutton-le-Hole and other attractive towns are nearby, as is the National Park’s great walking. Pickering, home to the North York Moors Steam Railway, is a must-see, as are the area’s museums, castles, trout fishing, and market towns. Additionally, York and East Coast resorts are easily accessible by car.
