The town of Beaminster is in the Dorset AONB. Around its square is the Conservation Area with over 200 listed buildings, many built from mellow hamstone. This community offers shops, inns and restaurants, in summer there is a music and arts festival. The area abounds in footpaths. Nearby is Bridport on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, whilst Lyme Regis, Dorchester and Weymouth are all accessible. A charming Dorset town set in an attractive rural setting.
