Combe Martin can be found near the confluence of Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Combe Martin has a popular beach because of its sheltered cove, ideal for rock-pooling and paddle boarding. There is a Nature and Dinosaur Park in the town as well. Every year in May, Combe Martin hosts the famous Earl of Rone festival, and in August, the town hosts a funfair. North Devon’s top attractions, including Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple, are conveniently close to this location, making it a great home base for sightseeing and exploration. The National Trust also maintains a number of wonderful gardens and homes. Woolacombe is home to some of the best surfing in the region, and the South West Coastal Path passes by within a mile.
