Kidlington is a large village that is over 800 years old, resting between the town of Woodstock and the historic city of Oxford. This village is known for its historic charm, a gorgeous church, which is a Grade I listed building named St. Mary the Virgin Church, a peaceful setting, and the Kidlington Historical Society. Kidlington has plenty to offer tourists with a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants available for when wanting to explore the place. Dining options include a Miller & Carter steakhouse and the traditional pub, the Black Horse, for some delicious meals. It has a village hall, a public library and a weekly market to make the most out of when venturing through the inviting village. For those who want to get active, there are several parks to amble through or have a kick about, as well as several scenic gardens to take in. The Oxford airport is on the doorstep of the village. Further afield is the City of Oxford for a wonderful day with the likes of Banbury, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Chipping Norton all short drives away.
