Embsay is a charming Dales village resting at the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering an excellent base for walking, cycling, fishing and lots of outdoor activities, Embsay also lies just over a mile from the popular ‘Gateway to the Dales’ town of Skipton. Embsay is also home to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway taking you on a scenic journey through picturesque countryside up to Bolton Abbey, where you can hop off the train and enjoy a walk up to the historic Bolton Priory.
