Lanfairfechan, also known as “where the mountains meet the sea,” is a little coastal village on the picturesque North Wales coast. The small town is known for its kilometres of sandy beach, bird sanctuary, and walks for all ages and abilities, including the famed Terrace Walk, which provides beautiful views over the Conwy Estuary, Puffin Island, and Anglesey and is easily accessible from the North Wales Coast Path and cycling way. Conwy, a World Legacy Site nearby, is known for its historical and architectural heritage, which includes a spectacular 13th century castle. The town is proud of its historic traditions and honours them with annual festivals, events, and fairs like as the Honey Fair, Seed Fair, and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, as well as other musical events throughout the year.
