In the county of Cheshire, the market town of Frodsham sits at the foot of Overton Hill, with a view of the Mersey Estuary and is only 11 miles from Chester’s city centre. The North Cheshire Way, which connects the Wirral to the Peak District, is a 70-mile long route perfect for serious walkers. It’s only a short drive away from Chester, which has been referred to as “the jewel of the North West of England.” The Roman walls, Chester Cathedral, and the famous Chester Rows are just a few of the historic attractions in the area. The River Dee, racetrack, and Grosvenor Park are all within the city limits, and a popular zoo can be found nearby. It is possible to visit the breath-taking Welsh mountains and coastline, the market towns and villages of Cheshire and Shropshire, as well as the nearby Wirral Peninsula’s many splendid golf courses.
